An Enthusiastic Voice and In-Depth Promotion Expertise
Rebecca brings more than two decades of experience working with musicians, arts organizations and the world’s leading major and independent record labels to achieve a broad array of publicity and communications goals. She has implemented successful media campaigns for A-list pianists, violinists, singers, composers and vocal and instrumental ensembles of all sizes. Before launching RDPR in 2008, Rebecca worked as Director of Publicity for the Decca, Deutsche Grammophon, Philips and Mercury labels at Universal Classics in New York and prior to that was Publicity Manager for the independent classical music label and distributor Naxos of America in Tennessee. She has implemented successful media campaigns for artists including Renée Fleming, Jonas Kaufmann, Juan Diego Florez, Danielle de Niese, Elīna Garanča, Bryn Terfel, Rolando Villazón, Janine Jansen, Anne Akiko Meyers, Lang Lang, Yuja Wang, Eric Whitacre and Osvaldo Golijov. Rebecca was led to a career in classical music publicity through her experience as a classically trained soprano and currently performs with the St. Petersburg Opera in Florida.
Liza Prijatel Thors
Liza has been an essential voice on the RDPR team since 2010 and brings to the firm sixteen years of major record label and agency experience. She has successful track records working with a diverse roster of performing arts organizations and artists from all genres including the Montreal Jazz Festival, KODO, Mark Campbell, the Saratoga Jazz Festival, Robin Gibb, Barbara Cook, Sarah Chang, Sophie Milman, The Dover Quartet, Noah Stewart, Measha Brueggergosman, Sandra Bernhard, Rakim, The Webb Sisters, Dominick Farinacci, Simone, Clay Walker, Decca Broadway soundtracks, the Jazz Foundation of America and more. Liza is a trained actor, pianist and singer but has a passion for all performing arts and was led to a career in public relations after graduating from UCLA’s celebrated School of Theatre, Film and Television. Prior to joining RDPR, Liza was an Associate Vice President at famed entertainment PR agency Susan Blond, Inc. and she got her start with five years in the Classics and Broadway division of Universal Music Group, both in New York.
